Kayaking

Primary Contact:

The Bridge's adaptive kayaking Try-It events offer our athletes the opportunity to enjoy kayaking with specialized support. Athletes are fitted into kayaks and boats are modified as needed to ensure comfort and safety. The program also provides training to help participants learn how to kayak safely and confidently. Sign up for our newsletter and watch our social media accounts for announcements about Try-It events. The Bridge also has two adaptive kayaks athletes can request to use!

The Bridge is teaming up with The Motz Group for Paddle for a Purpose, a special initiative this summer! Joe Motz, founder of The Motz Group, will canoe over 3,000 miles in a fundraising effort for The Bridge Adaptive Sports & Recreation. Visit The Motz Group website for more information about Paddle for a Purpose and how to get involved.

The Bridge is proud to serve as the official accessibility partner of PaddleFest, the largest paddle race in the country. Join us on August 2nd and 3rd for PaddleFest, as we provide support for our athletes participating in this exciting event!
