TOPSoccer
Cincinnati TOPSoccer is a soccer league dedicated to teaching individuals with special needs the game of soccer. TOPSoccer ensures that if you have a desire to play soccer, they'll make it happen, regardless of ability. Any player age 4 and older with a physical or cognitive disability is welcome to play. The outstanding coaches adapt to meet the needs and ability level of each individual and celebrate each success no matter how small. TOPSoccer groups players by age and ability and offer a separate wheelchair division to ensure that every player can participate at the level best suited to them.
Meet the Coaches
Coach Randy Corey
Randy has been working with Cincinnati TOPSoccer for 24 years, first as Director of the North location and as President of the organization and the TOPSoccer Ohio State Chair for the last 15 years. Randy has 26 years of coaching experience including Recreational Soccer, Recreational and Select Baseball and TOPSoccer and was named Coach of the Year for Region 2 and Administrator of the Year for Ohio South Youth Soccer Association.
Randy and his wife Lisa have been married for 32 years and have three kids; Kylie, Nick and Katey. Kylie is developmentally delayed and has been playing TOPSoccer for 24 years.
TOPSoccer is a family affair for the Coreys; with Randy leading, Lisa managing the finances and leading tournament activities, Kylie playing, Nick making video and audio projects to help get the word out and Katey volunteering at every possible gathering. Providing the opportunity for our daughter and all children with challenges to get off the sideline and into the game to experience the thrill of sport is what inspires us. There is no greater joy than seeing the smile on the face of a child who has just accomplished something they never dreamed they would. Randy also sits on the board for the Mason Parks and Recreation Foundation whose mission is to build a fully accessible park in Mason and is heavily involved with OneSight, Luxottica’s charitable organization, helping to bring the gift of sight to millions of people around the world.
